
Dr. Christina Denninghoff
Dr. Denninghoff attended Wesleyan College (Macon, GA) for her undergraduate degree and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience with a minor in Biology. She then attended Mercer University to obtain both her Master's and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology. While completing her studies at Mercer, Dr. Denninghoff engaged in practicum experiences that included work within a private practice for ADHD evaluations, college counseling, and hospital-based neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Denninghoff completed her internship at the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Dayton VAMC) in Dayton, OH, where she gained additional experience in therapy and assessment within general mental health, primary care mental health integration (PCHMI), and geropsychology.
She then continued at the Dayton VAMC for a postdoctoral residency focused on women's health, consultation and liaison services, and PCMHI. Following completion of residency, Dr. Denninghoff was hired on at the Dayton VAMC as a PCMHI Psychologist. Additionally, she served in roles such as PCMHI Team Lead, Psychology Practicum Coordinator, and Internship Training Director while at the Dayton VAMC.
Dr. Denninghoff has now returned home to Georgia to be closer to family, and is getting back to the roots of her psychology training in working with children. She is excited to be working with Summit Pediatric Psychology for completion of assessments!
